On Tuesday, October 11, 2022, Ms. Nazdar Arif, Director of the Gender Equality Center, received in audience Dr. Khalida Jamal, Specialist in Gynaecology, for the purpose of conducting a seminar regarding cancer disease. The seminar was organized by the Gender Equality Center at the University of Zakho in cooperation with the Directorate of Zakho Health.

Dr. Khalida Jamal delivered a presentation entitled “Breast Cancer Awareness” for university students to raise awareness and obtain valuable information about the aforementioned disease. At the end, a question-and-answer session emerged.
